Content Coordinator
Hi Omaha is looking for a part-time contract content coordinator to help organize, review, and prepare content for the website and social media. If you’re new to Hi Omaha, we launched in 2018 with the mission to share stories that connect and strengthen our community.
This role would work directly with the Editor-in-Chief and can work remotely. It would require roughly 4-8 hours of your time per week and compensation will be dependent on your experience.
Responsibilities:
Work with writers and photographers to coordinate content needs and drafts for review before publishing.
Review and prepare content for publication online and in our social channels.
Work with our advertising partners to coordinate content needs and drafts for review.
Maintain the events calendar with up to date happenings from every corner of the city.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a media or content related industry.
Proficient in Adobe (ie InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom).

Writers
Hi Omaha is looking for contract writers to create content in a variety of areas from movies and music to design and culture. If you’re new to Hi Omaha, we launched in 2018 with the mission to share stories that connect and strengthen our community.
This role would work directly with the Content Coordinator and can work remotely.
Responsibilities:
Write one to two (1-2) articles per month with anywhere from 750-1,500 words per article.
Receive prompts from Hi Omaha or submit your own.
